Supervisor Chris Koetzle announced today that Glenville will get $50,000 from their CFA Grant Application to help pay for the study to redevelop Freemans Bridge Road. The grant will be used to help the town redesign this important commercial corridor as it transitions from its industrial past to a planned mixed use area with retail, recreational and waterfront development. This, coupled with the town’s recent zoning changes to General Business in that corridor, the DEC cleanup of contaminated properties there and the recent traffic study will provide a sound basis for
additional resources to help us revitalize Freemans Bridge Road. Stay tuned for more updates.
